The journey toward feeling truly confident in your craft can be a rollercoaster, especially when imposter syndrome keeps sneaking up on you. I can personally say this has been a constant presence in my life. I’ve always felt like an outsider in this industry, wondering if I belong or if I’ve “earned” the right to stand here. But, this upcoming year, I’m setting an intention to change that mindset.
💪 Stepping Into Confidence
I’ve come to realize that building confidence isn’t about reaching a “perfect” point where you feel like the best in the room. It’s about knowing you have value, embracing the process, and always striving for more. And here’s a little secret—I’m okay admitting I’m not the best (yet 😉). But this year, my goal is to embrace every stage of filmmaking, constantly pushing the envelope.

🌍 Building My Portfolio and Working With Dream Clients
By this time next year, I hope to have an arsenal of work that includes collaborations with some of the biggest names out there. And yeah, maybe some people will call me crazy for thinking that way—but isn’t dreaming big where all great journeys start? Already, I’m incredibly grateful for the clients I work with. Every project ticks off another goal, making the journey worthwhile.
🎥 Dedication to the Craft
This year is all about soaking up every lesson, taking every piece of advice, and networking like my career depends on it (because it does!). The dream is to become the best filmmaker possible, not just for recognition but because I know the power of my craft.
Here’s to a year of growth, learning, and stepping into confidence, one frame at a time. 🌠
